Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, who we share it with, and the rights you have over it. We keep data collection to the minimum needed to talk to you and deliver work — we don't sell your data, and we don't run advertising trackers.

§ 1

Who is responsible for your data

Storifex Media — a company registered in India and operated by Nitesh Padghan, based in Mumbai, Maharashtra — is the controller of the personal data described here. For any privacy question or request, contact us at hello@niteshpadghan.com.

§ 2

What we collect

Information you give us. When you book a call, email us, message us on LinkedIn, or engage us for a project, we collect what you choose to share — typically your name, email address, company or role, the details of your project or enquiry, and, once engaged, the content, brand assets, and account access needed to do the work.

Billing information. When you pay an invoice, payment is handled by a third-party payment processor. We receive confirmation and billing details (such as name and amount) but do not store your full card details.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our hosting provider may log basic technical data — IP address, browser type, pages requested, timestamps — for security and to keep the site running. The embedded scheduling tool may set cookies when you interact with it; see our Cookie Policy. We do not run our own advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

§ 3

How we use it

  • to respond to your enquiry and schedule and hold calls;
  • to deliver, manage, and support the services you engage us for;
  • to send project communications, invoices, and, if you opt in, updates;
  • to operate, secure, and improve this website;
  • to keep business and accounting records and meet legal obligations.
§ 4

Why we're allowed to (legal bases)

Where the GDPR or similar laws apply, we rely on these bases: to perform a contract with you (delivering a project we agreed); your consent (for example, optional marketing emails, which you can withdraw any time); our legitimate interests in responding to enquiries, running and securing the site, and growing the business in a measured way; and legal obligation (tax and accounting).

§ 5

Who we share it with

We don't sell your data. We share it only with service providers who help us operate, and only as needed:

  • Cal.com — call scheduling (privacy policy);
  • Beehiiv — email/newsletter platform, where a newsletter is part of your project (privacy policy);
  • Vercel — website hosting and infrastructure (privacy policy);
  • Payment processors and accounting tools — to take payment and keep records;
  • Email and productivity providers — to communicate with you and manage projects.

We may also disclose data where required by law, to protect our rights, or to a successor if the business is transferred.

§ 6

International transfers

We operate from India and work with clients across many countries, and our providers may process data in other regions (including the EU and the United States). Where data moves across borders, we rely on the safeguards offered by those providers, such as standard contractual clauses, to protect it.

§ 7

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry and project data for as long as needed to provide the service and for a reasonable period afterward for follow-up, then for as long as the law requires us to keep financial and tax records (generally several years). We delete or anonymise data when it's no longer needed.

§ 8

How we protect it

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data and limit access to those who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security, but we take it seriously.

§ 9

Your rights

Depending on where you live (including under the EU/UK GDPR and India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023), you may have the right to access, correct, update, or delete your personal data; to object to or restrict certain processing; to data portability; to withdraw consent; and to complain to a data protection authority.

To exercise any of these, email hello@niteshpadghan.com. We'll respond within the timeframes the law requires. We may need to verify your identity first.

§ 10

Marketing emails

If you opt in to updates, you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email or by contacting us. We'll still send essential messages about a project you've engaged us for.

§ 11

Children

This site and our services are intended for businesses and adults. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has given us data, contact us and we'll delete it.

§ 12

Other websites

Our site and content may link to third-party websites and platforms. We're not responsible for their privacy practices — please review their policies.

§ 13

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our practices or the law change. The current version is always posted here with the “last updated” date revised above. Significant changes will be made clear.
