BeLocal Consulting

A 25-year career in cross-border investment, reduced to a stock template and a lightbulb. We rebuilt it into a founder-led advisory site that makes a complex set of services clear and credible.

§01The challenge

A brochure that could belong to anyone.

The old site was a stock template: a lightbulb, a vague promise, and services listed as bare headings. Scroll inside to see the whole page.

A headline that said nothing

“With well proliferated networks, subject experts and numerous success stories.” Vague boilerplate over a stock lightbulb. A visitor learned nothing about what the firm actually does.

Services were just labels

“Our Services” was a heading with no explanation behind it. A prospect could not tell what BeLocal would actually do for them, or where they fit.

The founder was invisible

Advisory is bought on the person. Mahesh's 25 years in cross-border investment, with senior roles at Austrade and the Economic Development Board of Mauritius, were nowhere near the top.

Thin proof

Three client logos and an unexplained list of affiliations. A firm that has worked with dozens of companies across continents looked small.

§02What we did

Rebuilt around the person and the work.

An advisory firm is bought on trust in the founder and clarity on the offer. We built the site to deliver both. Six moves.

01

Put the founder up front

Mahesh leads the site: 25+ years in FDI promotion, senior roles at Austrade and the Economic Development Board of Mauritius, and a chair seat at the Maharashtra Economic Development Council. The credibility a client is really buying.

02

Turned labels into real services

Four defined offers, each saying what it does and who it is for: India market entry, trade facilitation and matchmaking, outbound expansion for Indian firms, and investment and partnership facilitation.

03

Made the complexity legible

A fairly complex, cross-border set of services organised so a first-time visitor understands the firm in a single scroll. Clear and credible, in the founder's own words.

04

Surfaced the proof

The 40+ client logos, the affiliations and board roles, the sectors and the regions served, all presented as credibility a prospect can weigh, not a list to scroll past.

05

One clear next step

Book a consultation as the single, repeated call to action, so an interested visitor always knows exactly what to do next.

06

Rebuilt end to end

A full rebuild, responsive through every round of feedback, shipped to a site that finally reflects how the firm actually works with clients.

§03After · live

Nitesh rebuilt our website and quickly understood what an advisory firm needs it to do. He took a fairly complex set of services and made them clear and credible, and he was responsive through every round of feedback. The new site finally reflects how we actually work with clients, and it has made those first conversations much easier. Genuinely glad we worked with him.

Your expertise is the product. Does your website show it?

If your site undersells what you actually do, that is the gap I close. Same as I did for BeLocal.
